Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 3–6 years
Function: Brand & Marketing
About the role
We’re looking for someone who can own how the brand shows up in the world.
Someone who understands that great brand communication isn't just about putting out content
regularly. It’s about finding interesting ideas, knowing what the brand should sound like, and
turning those ideas into communication that people actually want to see, read and share.
You’ll work closely with the brand and creative teams to take ideas from strategy → concept →
execution → communication, and will work with designers, video editors and other creative
partners to bring them to life.
What you’ll do
● Own the brand’s day-to-day communication across social, digital and other relevant
touchpoints.
● Translate brand strategy into fresh, relevant and engaging content ideas.
● Ideate campaigns, social content, videos, topical content, brand stories and other
communication formats.
● Develop strong creative concepts and briefs for designers, video editors and creative
partners.
● Work closely with the creative team to ensure the final execution stays true to the
original idea and brand.
● Build and manage the content/communication calendar.
● Develop and maintain a strong brand tone of voice across every piece of
communication.
● Spot interesting cultural moments, conversations and trends that the brand can
participate in authentically.
● Write or help shape copy, scripts, headlines and messaging when required.
● Collaborate with marketing, design, product and other teams to bring communication
ideas to life.
● Review content before publishing and ensure consistency in brand voice, visual
language and messaging.
● Keep looking for new ways to make the brand’s communication more distinctive,
interesting and memorable.
● Track what is working and use those learnings to improve future communication.
Who we’re looking for
You’re probably someone who:
● Has a great creative instinct and naturally comes up with ideas.
● Understands what makes content interesting—not just what makes it “correct.”
● Has a strong understanding of brands, storytelling and tone of voice.
● Can move comfortably between strategy and execution.
● Can take a vague thought and turn it into a clear creative idea.
● Is equally comfortable brainstorming with a designer and writing a brief for a video
editor.
● Has strong communication and writing skills.
● Has a good understanding of social media and contemporary content formats.
● Is curious about culture, people, trends and what is happening around them.
● Has strong attention to detail and cares about the final output.
● Can work independently and take ownership, rather than waiting for briefs.
● Knows when to follow a trend and, more importantly, when not to.
Experience & education
● 3–6 years of experience in brand marketing, content, marketing communications,
creative strategy, social media or a similar role.
● Experience working with a consumer-facing brand, creative agency, digital agency
or D2C/FMCG brand is preferred.
● Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Advertising, Marketing,
Communications, Journalism, English, Design or a related field.
● A strong portfolio of work is more important than the exact educational
background.
A good fit for this role would be someone who has
Thought of the idea → written the brief → worked with the designer/video editor →
reviewed the execution → published it → looked at what worked.
We’re looking for someone who wants to own the communication, not just make content.
