We are hiring a Junior Executive – Purchase & Inventory Control to support procurement, store operations, and inventory accounting at the plant level. The role requires strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and coordination with cross-functional teams including Accounts & Finance.
Procurement
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per company policies.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and assist in vendor negotiations.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays, shortages, and discrepancies.
Inventory & Store Management
- Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of GRNs (Goods Received Notes) with proper documentation and timely system updates.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of MRNs (Material Receipt Notes) for traceability.
- Track inward and outward material movement and generate material issue reports.
- Maintain factory-level stock records and validate closing stock data.
Stock Control & Financial Alignment
- Record and monitor stock-out instances with reasons and usage tracking.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Identify and report stock variances for corrective action.
- Support preparation of stock reports during month-end and year-end closures.
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure all inventory data aligns with procurement and accounting records.
- Work closely with Accounts, Finance, and Production teams for accurate reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and ensure audit readiness at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) – Preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in Purchase / Stores / Inventory / Accounts support
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and accounting principles
- Familiarity with Excel and ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
